How do you know if you have Lupus? Below are Symptoms and sings of Lupus Individual signs and symptoms may vary. Your Sings and symptoms may develop slowly. It may vary from mild or severe. Most people experience flares when symptoms worsen. The most common signs and symptoms include:


  • Joint pain  which includes stiffness & swelling
  • Skin lesions due to sun exposure
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fever
  • Discoloration of finger & toes when exposed to cold or during stressful periods
  • Butterfly-shaped rash that appears on face that covers the checks & bridge of the nose.
  • Other body rashes
  • Fatigue
  • Chest pain
  • Headaches, memory loss & confusion
  • Dry eyes
You should see a doctor if you develop an persistent aching & pain, rash, fatigue and ongoing fever.
